LARGE NUMBER OF PATIENTS Over 4000 miles were covered by St. John ambulances in carrying 450 patients in Auckland in the past month. In addition, 354 out-patients were treated at the waterfront station and 74 at the Rutland Street station. A total of 817 visits was made by members of the district nursing division, whose cars travelled 1187 mil r es. The present number of patients on the books is 177. Dressings to out-patients at the Rutland Street station totalled 222. The association, which is greatly in need of funds, will hold its annual street appeal on October 7.
