HUNT CLUB BALL
FUNCTION AT WHAKATANE . ' Saddles and whips lent an appropriate touch to the decorations in the winter show building, Whakatane, on Wednesday evening, when the Whakatane ward of the Rotorua and Bay oC Plenty Hunt Club held a most successful ball there. Nikan palms, nativo shrubbery and coloured streamers also added to the festivity of the scene. Music provided by Snellen's orchestra proved very popnlai and a delightful supper was served. The trophies won at the point-to point meet ing, held tho same day, were presented by the'master, Mr. W. E. Ward, during an interval in tho dancing. Among those present were Mrs. It.
