HIKERS' TRAINS ON SUNDAYS

Sir, —Re the hikers' mystery train surely we New Zealanders who live in "God's Own Country" will not let this pass without a fight. The trouble to-dav is caused by the turning away from God" and surely if the hikers wish to go hiking they could choose some other day than Sunday, which day should be set aside for worship. Surely out of seven days we can give one to worship our Creator. What is the difference between, working on Sunday and travelling Sunday, when men have to work to get us to our destination T God cannot prosper those wno do not keep His laws, and He says, "Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy. : ' Therefore we should not have excursions, etc., if they have to be run Sundays. Surely something can be done to stop this wrong practice. SroRT.
