Sir, —Will you kindly answer the fob' lowing question. How much is a widow receiving pension (£45 10s per annum) entitled to receive from son per &:inum before her pension is interfered wii,h by the department? H.W.
[Tho full pension was reduced this year to £4O 19s per annum. The pensioner can receive £39 from other sources without suffering reduction of pension. The pension is reduced by £1 for every £1 0 f income in excess of £39.] *
