T- Surrey's first- innings against the Indian cricketers the county made 387 runs for nine wickets, declared (Whitfield 101 not out). India in the first innings made 204 (Nazir Ali / 64). Fender took five wickets for 58. Following on, the Indians lost three wickets for 61 runs.
