SPURIOUS COINS
CIRCULATION IN SYDNEY THREE CHINESE ARRESTED (Received August 16. 9.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 10 With the arrest of a Chinese in a city bank to-day the detectives believe they will bo able to elucidate the mystery attaching to the organised circulation of spurious coins in Sydney, mostly shillings. The detectives are convinced that the coins were not minted here or in New Zealand. Two other well-dressed Chinese later were arrested in the Chinese quarter..
