CONSPIRATORS FOR TRIAL MORE THAN A THOUSAND SPECIAL COURT FOR LEADER By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received August 16, 6.25 p.m.) Times Cable LONDON, Aug. 15 The Madrid correspondent of the Times says that with normality restored ip Spain interest now is cenfred on the great trial of more than 1000 prisoners, of whom 66 are officers, including many heroes of the Moroccan campaign. General San Jurgo's rank entitles him to a special trial, but the others will be tried in two batches.
The inhabitants of the town of San Jurgo have petitioned the authorities to rename it, as they consider the present name is now a disgrace to the Republic.
