PRODUCE FOR BRITAIN
TWO LARGE CARGOES BUTTER, CHEESE AND MEAT Two large cargoes of New Zealand produce were despatched from Auckland for London yesterday by the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitiki and the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hunter. The Rangitiki. which is a vessel of 16,698 tons, loaded at Wellington, Lytelton, Napier, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland, and she sailed for London, via Panama, at 7.40 o'clock yesterday morning. The Port Hunter' 3 gross tonnage is 8430. She loaded at Bluff, Timaru, Lyttelton, Pictqn, Wellington and Auckland, and sailed for London, via Cape Horn, Montevideo and Dakar, last evening. Both vessels are nearly filled with produce, and between them they took over 90,000 boxes of butter and over 14,00G crates of choese. Each vessel had all its refrigerated space filled with frozen meat, while large quantities of general cargo include milk powder, casein, condensed milk, tallow and other items.
