DANCER'S SON'S INHERITANCE At the age of five years the son of the late Miss Kay Laurell (Mrs. Sheehan), a former Ziegfeld Follies beauty, is the heir to a fortune of £16,850, left by his mother. The boy, Joseph Laurell, has lived for the past two years at Felpham, near Lognor Regis, under the care of a nurse, Miss E. R. Anderson. By the decision of the New York Surrogate Court, his mother's estate is to be turned over to the Midland Bank, London, in trust for him. The decision was taken just recently after the matter had been in hand for nearly two years. Miss Kay Laurell, once described as one of the most beautiful women who ever played with the Ziegfeld Follies, was nn actress and dancer. She died in London when lier son was born in January, 1927. It was in the hope of starring on the West End stage that Miss Laurell visited London, but she did not secure an engagement. Before going to England Miss Laurell was estranged from ner husband, Mr. Winficld R. Sheehan, the Hollywood film executive. Little Joseph Laurell is described as a " bright, cheerful little chap," clever above the average for his age, and a great favourite in the neighbourhood wnere he lives.
