STOP-WORK MEETINGS
Sir, —How inspiring it is to learn that no less than eight vessels awaited the services of cargo unloaders, owing to the Osual monthly stop-work meeting of members of tho Waterside Workers' Union. While hundreds of genuine work-seeking men are available why should these waterside workers bo permitted to continue this practice, which, now for many years, has completely disorganised shipping, cargoes and passengers through the customs ? The vital need of the time is that every person should individually assist vigorously and honestly to bring back normality of trade and, consequently, normality of prosperity and happiness. Don't Shelve It.
