ROAD TO HOSPITAL
CRITICISM AT ROTORUA NEED OF REPAIRS URGED [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] ROTORUA, Thursday The bad state of the road leading to King George V. Hospital was strongly criticised at tho meeting of tho Rotorua Borough Council last evening. Mr. O H. Coleman moved that representations bo made to tho Health Department to have the road properly repaired. Owing to, the loose metal it was not fit to drive a person who had met with a bad accident over it. It was essential that tho road should have a. smooth surface. The Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson, said he was in favour of the motion. If the department would repair tho road, which wa3 not a borough road, tho council perhaps would be willing to assist. The motion \va3 carried.
