Serious injuries wore received by a six-year-old child, Ronald Emms, of Barton Terrace, when ho was knocked down hy a motor-car in Tinakori Road this evening. The boy had been sent on as errand and was crossing the road whon ho was struck by a car driven by Mr. J. W. Ashford, taxi proprietor. lie received a broken leg, face injuries and concussion. His condition is serious.
