DESTRUCTIVE FIRE
GOLF CLUB BUILDING HEAVY LOSS ENTAILED SYDNEY, Aug. 3 A fire early this morning gutted the clubhouse of the Killara Golf Club. The damage is estimated at several thousand pounds. The flames were visible for miles around. In spite of the early hour and the cold and rain more than 2000 people watched the fire raze the building within an hour.
