LEFT-HANDEDNESS
Sir. —I am a man in middle life and am left-handed. From my own experience and from what I observe in other lefthanded people of both sexes, I do not think it makes auv difference which hand a person uses. If a child is naturally lefthanded and is worried by teachers to change to the right, he will, of course, become highly strung and nervous. Today I had a talk with a retired headmaster on the subject. He lias had as many as 600 children under his charge at one time for a period of years, and he says it, is nonsense to say left-handed-ness or right-handedness makes any difference, either mentally or physically, in boys or girls. Regarding physique, I had three left-handed men in mv shop to-day, including myself, and the smallest of the three is nob under sft. llin. and the, tallest is 6ft., and all well proportioned. Old Left-hander.
