MOTOR-CYCLIST'S DEATH
THROWN IN FRONT OF LORRY The death occurred in the Auckland Hospital yesterday afternoon of Mr. Raymond Thurlow Allan, aged 21, only son of Mr. 11. Allan, of 23 Rutland Road, Devonport. Mr. Allan received serious internal injuries as the result of an accident on the Great North Road, near Helensville, on Friday afternoon. He was riding a motor-cycle, "and when rounding a bend his machine skidded on some loose metal. He was thrown heavily on the roadway in front of a cream lorry, one of the wheels of which passed over him.
