PLUNGE OVER BANK
CAPSIZE OF MOTOR-CAR DRIVER SERIOUSLY HURT [by telegraph—OWN • correspondent] PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday Plunging over a bank two wiles from Ballance, a sedan motor-car driven by Mr. A. W. Mindo, salesman, fell 20ft. and crashed through a fence before capsizing in a paddock below. Mr. Mindo was found by the farmer who owned the property. The farmer telephoned to Palmerston North for a breakdown car and an ambulance. It was found when Mr. Mindo was admitted to hospital that he was suffering from a fracture of the pelvis. His condition is serious.
