SUBMARINE'S ESCAPE
SUNK IN A COLLISION HOW SHE ROSE AGAIN STOCKHOLM, July 27 When the Swedish cruiser Fylgia collided with the submarine Bavern the latter vessel was sunk in 250 ft. of water. Tlie crew of the submarine, however, managed to detach her lead keel, and she rose to tho surface, with only her bridge and periscope damaged, and returned to Ivarlskrona under her own power.
