FALL IN CASH RECEIPTS SUM OF £37,582 IN 10 MONTHS A fall in revenue of £37,582 for the 10 months ended July 31, compared with the corresponding period in 1930-1931, was shown in a statement of revenue presented to the Harbour Board at its meeting yesterday by the treasurer, Mr. C. Garratt. The receipts for the current period totalled £264,099, while those for the previous period amounted to £301,681. Decreases were recorded under nil headings, tho chief declines being in goods wharfage, crane dues, rents and dock and 'slipway charges. The receipts for July, 1932, were £30,324, compared with £32,770 for July last year, a decrease of £2446. Cash receipts for tho Manukau Harbour totalled £3362 for tho 10 months, against £4104, a decrease of £742. The respective figures for July were £259 and £770. It was stated that the receipts for the remaining months of the year would be affected by reductions in rent.
