HEADMASTER'S REMARKS INACCURATE REPORT CLAIMED LONDON, July 31 Mr. C. H. Blnkiston, headmaster ol Lancing College, who sonously ciiticised tho modern boy at tlie conference of the British Medical Association on Thursday, claims to have been misreported. He says ho was referring to mental defectives, nol to average schoolboys. , Mr. Blakistori was reported to have said that by comparison with the boy of 3( years ago, the modern boy was timid, untruthful and dishonest. He expected tc be taken everywhere. Above all, he fearec loneliness and boredom. Consequently, th( old spirit of adventure was destroyed The war had had a definite result upor those who were infants in the period 1914 18. Consequently there were numeroui young people who worked feebly nuc played feebly.
