YESTERDAY'S WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland. —There was a continuation of rain early yesterday morning, but afterward fine weather and a 'light southerly wind prevailed. The sky was dull and cloudy. There was very little movement of the barometer, which rose after midday and registered 29.95 in. last night. Wellington.—A perfect spring day was experienced yesterday. There was bright, warm sunshine, u cloudless sky and a light breezi) from tlie north. Chrlstchurch. —A frost of 12 degrees yesterday morning was followed by a beautiful day. The wind was light and variable and the maximum temperature was 58 degrees. The barometer was steady at 29.84 in. Dunedin— Sunny and mild conditions yesterday morning were, followed by an overcast sky and a cold breeze from the south-west. The barometer showed little movement and registered 30in. in tb* evening.
