A large number of spectators, was presont, including a number of ladies. W. E. Hackett proved too good for his opponent; E. Burleigh, winning by a margin of 231 points (500 —2G9). with an average of 9.40. The winner's breaks were:-i-40. 81, 33, 29, SG, Burleigh's breaks being 21, 22. 33, 4Q.
