HISTORIC ST. PAUL'S

Sir, —In your interesting article in last Thursday's issue, it is stated that the oundation stone of the present church was laid on February 24, J894. I think "hat the date was St. Barnabas' Day, .Monday, June 11, 1894. The Right Rev Cecil Wilson was consecrated Bishop of Melanesia at St. Mary's Cathedral in the morning, and I think that the foundation stone of St. Paul's Church was laid in tho afternoon. 1. P.
