DANCE AT NORTH SHORE

The North Shore Association Football Club held a very successful dance at the Navy League hall at Dcvonport on Saturday evening. The hall was decoiated with black and gold streamers, the club colours. Shaded lights and bowls of brightly-shaded flowers added to tho attractiveness of the scene. Mr. Sam Jones and his Blue Four orchestra played excellent dance music. The committee comprised : Mrs. Smith, who wore a frock of lace and flame satin; Mrs. Miller, m j teach lace with coatee to match; Mrs. Ilest, black satin and pink embroidered coatee; and Mrs. A. Ferguson, beige lace and satin. , , Among those present were: Mrs. A. J. Goldsworthy, who wore cameo pmk georgette; Miss T. Cotter (Te Kowhai), apricot taffeta; Miss E. Bush, Chinese red satin; Miss L. Lawrence, pink taffeta and tulle; Mis s G. Abbott, flame satin beaute; Miss J. Miller, pastel-shaded taffeta with ruched frills; Miss J. Grant, black satin beaute; Miss D. Mclvernam, cornflower blue georgette; Miss Jane i-elig-man, pastel georgette; Miss Ba.doek, black satin; Mrs. J. Smith, delft blue crepe romaine; Miss J. Jones, powdei blue taffeta; Miss B. Moore, navy hailstone ninon; Miss M. Andrews, almond green satin; Miss C. McCarthy, sprigged taffeta; Miss A. Cameron, Nile green shot taffeta; Miss M.
