Mrs. F. D. Pinfold, Mayoress of Hamilton, is staying at the Station Hotel. Mrs. Digges-Smith, who lias been visiting Auckland, returned to Wellington on Thursday evening. Miss if. Fenwick, of Auckland, is visiting Wellington, where she is the guest of hor aunt, Mrs. H. O'Connor. ' Miss Barbara Agmen-Smith, of Papakura, returned yesterday from a visit to Mrs. L. B. Webster, of New Plymouth. " Miss Jean Stevenson, national. general secretary of the New Zealand Y.W.C.A., will arrive in Auckland early this morning from the south. After spending three weeks with her sister, Mrs. John Morrison, Paeroa, Miss Muriel Rosenfeldt has returned to Auckland. Mrs. Morrison and her two little daughters have accompanied her. A successful card afternoon organised by Mrs. Coglham and Mrs. Andrews was held in tho Oak Hall, Liverpool Street, in aid of the unemployed girls' lodge. They intend to hold these afternoons every fortnight. The lion. Mrs. Daniells will arrive in Wellington by the Rangitata on August 4, to visit hor sister, tho Lady Bledisloe. She will be accompanied by her son, who is studying at Oxford, and they will spend part of the long vacation in New Zealand.
