SWEEPSTAKE IN HOTEL FINE OF £1 ON BARMAN "We wish to show the public that such • lotteries are illegal, and that the licensees of hotels must prevent them," said De-tective-Sergeant Kelly in the Police Court yesterday, when Arthur Wellesley Austin, barman, was charged with establishing a lottery.
