PAKURANGA HUNT.

MEET HELD AT DRURY. Although no kills wcro recorded, splendid sport was enjoyed by members of- the Pakuranga Hunt Club yesterday at a moot at Drury. There was a particularly largo field. The hounds threw off on the farm of Mr.. P. Heard, and soon picked up the scent of a -haro which led lliem' a fast chase.' After covering a circular course tho bare escaped in a patch of Korse. A second hare was put up and was chased nearly as far as OpahekG, when it doubled back to Mr. Heard's property and was lost in the g;orße. Another hare was soon put up Slid' it made off in the direc lion of Ramarama. Before the chase had been in rrogresa long, however, it was necessary to atop the hounds as darkness was falling. The scent waa exceptionally good and : the hounds ran well; An excellent afternoon's sport waa enjoyed. Among tho' riders were tho deputymaster, Mr. J. Adams, on Safe Conveyance; the huntsman, Mr. P.
