WATER BOARD COSTS.

PAYMENT DECLINED. The Pnpatoeloo Town Board decided last evening to declino pay tho sum of £ls which had been assessed by the recent conference of local bodies as its share of the Water Board costs.

When a copy of the conference report and .'i request for payment were submitted the chairman, Mr. W. J. Nicholson, said the board had previously paid £lO 10s toward the costs and had at that time advised it would not bo responsible for any further amounts. It w,as decided to reply stating the board repudiated any further liability.
