Hamilton, reports on it* tri-weekly Te Awnmutu stock sale on Thursday aa follows Cattle: The entry of fat cattle comprised about a usual number of cow oeef and t T jro pens of choice but small ox beef. Cow beef maintained late quotations under si eteady demand, ■while os beef eased a little in value. Stores changed hands with no alteration in prices. Yearling heifers of average Quality met with a very fair sale. Prime lightweight ox beef made £3 73 Gd: prime fat cows, £3 73 fid to £3 ICs: fat cows. £2 15s to £3 4s; lighter, £2 2s to £2 12s 6d: unfinished. £1 Us to £l'. tillable, £1 Ss to £1 13s; stores, 163 to £1 3s: yearling heifers. £1 17s to £2 ss; others. £1 5s to £1 12s. Dairy cattle: The entry, which comprised >ust under 200 head, was mostly heifers, except Mr. K. E. Goddard's herd, which met with a spirited demand, realising prices fully ud to all recent quotations. Bight tnroucnout the sale, the demand was maintained, practically nothing being reserved. There' was a big yarding of dairy cattle and bidding was good. Moat »?' 8 changed hands. Quotations were:—Dairy heifers, £6 to £7 12s 6d; other heifers, £j 53 to £5 15s: dairy cows, £5 5s to £6 IDs; ccws, in milk. £5 to £5 15s; meaty empty cows, up to £-2 ss; store cows. 149; two-year-old steers, £2 ss; yearling steers, 10s to los. -i , « Dalgety and Company. Limited, report holding a sale at Kamo yesterday when there was a large attendance of buyers. There was an exceptionally big yarding of dairy stock.
