CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH.
Auckland—The weather continued fine yesterday, a very light, breeze blowing "from the south-west. The barometer was falling slowly and registered 30.00 m. last night. Wellington. —The weather was beautifully fine and sunny yesterday. Ther# was a light breeze from the north. Christchurch. —The weather yesterday was lino and milder than of late/ the. thermometer registering 59deg. There vas a very light breeze from the south-west, The barometer fell five points during the dav to 29.85 in. . , , Dunedin. —There was a continuation ot fine weather yesterday. A light breeze from the west made conditions mild an pleasant, but the sky was cloudy. !'• barometer showed little niovemen a registered 29.90irt. in tbe evening.
