MAN DEAD IN KITCHEN.

WIFE'S TRAGIC DISCOVERY,

A resident of Otahuhu, Mr. Joseph Fowler, aged 56 years, who lived on tlio Mount Wellington Highway, was found dead by a gas oven in the kitchen at his home yesterday afternoon. The discovery was made by his wife, who left home at 11 a.m. and returned shortly before 4 p.m. During this time Mr. Fowler was at home alone. For the past 12 months he had been unemployed. He loaves three adult children.
