HAMILTON WEATHER.
RAINFALL DURING JUNE. EXCEPTIONALLY WET MONTH. [from our own correspondent.] HAMILTON. Friday. The weather in Hamilton last month was exceptionally wet, a total of 6.57 in. of rain falling on 18 days. In the corresponding month of last year a total fall of 4.86 in. was recorded. For the first six months of this year the rainfall totalled 21.65 in., as against 19.11 in. for tho same period of 1931. The following temperatures were recorded! in a private residence at Hamilton in June:—Highest day temperature, 63 degrees; lowest day, 48; highest night, 55; lowest night, 37; average day, 57; average night, 44. The average day temperature for June, 1931, was 58 degrees and the average night, 46. Records in Juno for the period 19221931 are;— Highest day, June 7, 1929, 69 degrees; lowest day, June 18, 1927, 49; highest night, June 25, 1929, 63; lowest night, June 9, 1931, 35.
