WARKWORTH CROQUET CLUB

The members of the Warkworth Croquet Club were entertained at an At Home at the reticence of the president, Mrs. W. Hamilton, last week. The guests, who arrived by la-inch, were received by fiio hostess, who worn a black ninon frock with cherry emboy.ved ninon coatee. Afternoon tea was served on (ho largo verandah, during which tho opportunity was taken by the president to present various pi'iz's won duririj; the season. A batmaking compotitio 1 was won by Mrs. S. Bi akeni ig and we i n by Mrs. J. Bond, while Mrs. A. Ikysted won the cioquet comjietitions held during the afternoon. Before ret inning to Warkworth tho secretary expressed t ianks on behalf of the club for' Mrs. Hamilton's hospitality and the delightful afternoon spent.
