WORTH A FORTUNE.

Sir Thomas Lawrence's famous picture, " The Red Boy," which came into the London market recently, is known all over the world by that'title, but actually it is a portrait of the little son of tho first Earl of Durham, who was eight years old at the timo and died six years later.

The picture was first exhibited in 1825, and two years ago an American collector, so rumour said, was willing to pay £200,000 for it.
