CHOIR OF FISHWIVES.
A novel record is claimed by tho farfamed Fisher Women's Choir of Newhaven, on the Firth of Forth, near Edinburgh. The choir members include no fewer than seven grandmothers and a great-grandmother! And when they sing " Caller Herrin'," tho tang of tho sea is in the air. Apart from the women's fine singing, their picturesque appearance is a great attraction. They wear the short, striped petticoats, aprons and other garb which has been typical of tho Newhaven fishwife for hundreds of year#.
