LABOURER FINED £ls. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ASHBURTON. Friday. A fine of £ls, with costs £5 12s, was imposed on James Wear, labourer, of Fairton, in the Magistrate's Court for taking 50 trout out of tho Ashburton River by means of dynamite. lie was convicted and discharged on a charge of fishing withoirt a licence and taking fish other than by rod and line.
