CONTROL AT OTAHUHU. DANCER OF OVERLAPPING. The question of controlling t,'ie organisation of charity entertainments in Otahuliu was discussed by the Otahuliu Borough Council last e ening. Mr. F. XV. Grey suggested that steps should be tak n to control charity functions. lfe sai 1 he had knowledge of entertainments I eing organised that were in no way ass >ciated with the recognised charitable bod es, and unless some check were applied t licrc would be overlapping. The Mayor, Mr. H. T. Clements, said the council lu d no authority to interfere with house col lections or public functions, and it was di ficult to stop them. Mr. J. \ .
