The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua- arrived at Wellington from Auckland yesterday afternoon to replenish her oil fuel bunkers. From Wellington the vessel vvill proceed to Port Chalmers. Lyttelton and Timara to complete discharging cargo from London. THE GALLIC. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Gallic is to leave Oamuru for Lyttelton. Wellington, Tok omaru Bay and Auckland to-day to continue loading for England. The vessel is due at, Auckland 011 May 2 and she is scheduled to sail for Southampton and London, vit. Panama, 011 May 4. SIERRA AT SAN FRANCISCO. The Matson line steamer Sierra was due at San Francisco from Auckland yesterday. The vessel will not return to New Zealand. She is being withdrawn from the service and will be replaced by the liner Mariposa, which will leave San Francisco 011 May 6 and LO3 Angeles on May 7 for Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne, via Honolulu, Pago Pago and Suva. B:ERMINIUi3 CLEARED BALBOA. The Shaw, Snvill and Albion steamer Herminius cleared Balboa last Monday in continuation of her voyage from London to Bluff. The vessel is in ballast and will load in New Zealand at Bluff, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled to reach Bluff on May 9 and to clear Well- | ington for London, via Panama, on May 30. ; RANG IT AT A IN PORT. The New Zeiland Shipping Company's motor-liner Ranjitata is due from London, ! via Wellington, at eeven o'clock this morning. The Marine Department has received advice from the Piaster of the cable steamer Recorder that a cable buoy, to which is attached a whi:e light and also a red flag with a white centre, is moored in a position 36 degrees, 49 minutes and 32 seconds, south latitude; and 174 degrees, 22 minutes cast longitude.
