TENNIS AT HONOLULU. AUSTRALIANS PLAY WELL. (Received April 20, 7.35 p.m.) HONOLULU, April 19. The members of the Australian Davis ( up team .ire playing in a tournament at Honolulu. In tho semi-finals of the singles to-day Hopman, after a great light with Keith Glcdhill, who stands eighth in the American ranking, was defeated by three sets to two. Crawford defeatod Sproule in the other singles match.
In the doubles Hopman and Crawford defeated Glcdhill and Hoogs in three straight sets, and in the semi-finals Hopman and Crawford beat Biven and W. Hoogs. ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. SCOTTISH DIVISION MATCH. LONDON, April 10. In an Association football match, Scottish division, Clyde defeated Morton, 3 goals to 0. NORTHERN UNION GAME. In a Northern Union football match, Rochdale defeated Widnes, 13 points to 3. BILLIARDS AT MONTREAL. LIN DRUM OUT OF FORM. (Received April 20. 7.5 p.m.) MONTREAL, April 19. In Ihe billiards match between Lindrum and Newman the scores are: Newman (received 3000), 7028; Lindrum, 1319. Newman played brilliantly to-day, but 'his Australian opponent, who has been suffering from lumbago, was below liis usual form.
