NEW WHAKATANE COURSE. A new 18-holes golf course of 150 acres laid out by the Whakatane Golf Club, was opened Inst, Saturday before, about' 150 plovers and •visitors. Mixed foursomes were played a»d a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. The area was purchased by tho club about 18 months ago and considerable improvements have already been made. PLAY AT ROTORUA.
