TWO NEW RECORDS MADE. A new Dominion record for the 75 yaTds intermediate girls' ewim was made in the Tepid Baths last evening by Miss Moua Leydon (Waitemata Club), whose time, 49 l-ss, bettered by two-fifths of a second the previous standard established oil February 7, 1924. by Miss Piri Page. Miss Marie Farquhnr (Waitemata), the national lady champion created a record for '£oo metres backstroke, taking 3m 14 4-ss. Events decided by the North Shore Club resulted us follows:—50 ards Takapuna Grammar School girls' championship: Miss E. Rainey, 1; Miss E. James, 2; Miss M. Gillies, 3. Won by 2ft. Time, 33 l-ss. 50 Yards boys' championships: C. Buchanan, 1; T. O'Meara, 2; R. Gilbert, 3. Won by a touch. Time, 2Ss. North Shore primary, schoolboys' neat header championship: T. Hambrook (Devonport), 1; J. Johnston (Devonport), 2; A. Cassells (Devonport), 3. Girls' neat header championship: B. Bull (Stanley Bay), 1; R. McUrane (Stanley Bay), 2.
