Binges Watson, the new commander of tho New Zealand Naval Squadron; new Redemptionist monastery of St. Gerard's opened by Archbishop O'Shea; and tho fruit export season in full swing, aj-e some of tho subjects illustrated. In the largo budget of miscellaneous photographs thero are many illustrations of more than usual interest. The following list will give some idea of the wide range covered: —New Shakespeare Momorial Theatre at Stratford-on-Avon to be opened by tho Prince of Wales; severe hurricano in Tonga last month; Canterbury tennis champions; Phar Lap's easy win in tho Agua Calient© Handicap, his last victory before his untimely death; German civil flier completes a solo flight from Berlin to Sydney; South Island topics and scenes; flying above the clouds at Auckland; Salvation Army leaders entertained by the Governor General and the Lady Bledisloe; remarkable scenes In Sydney at the trial of Captain de Groot, who cut the ribbon at the Sydney harbour bridge opening.
