TAURANGA BAND AFFAIRS.
[from or a own correspondent.] TAURANGA, Saturday. There was a largo attendance at the. animal meeting of the Tauranga Municipal Band last evening. Mr. W. A. Carswell presided. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit balance of £23 15s. The assets include instruments valued at £273 15s ( and there are no liabilities. Ollicers were elected as follows:—President, Mr. B. C. Bobbins; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. A. Carswell, P. T. Keam, I<\ J. Allely, T. M. Bloor and J. Law; honorary secretary and treasurer. Mr. T. Milne; honorary auditor, Mr. C. T. Clinkard; committee, Messrs. J. Thomson, J'. S. Densem, R. Stewart, F. Milno, H. Bougen, K. Smith, \V. Oliver, V. Pavirs and the bandmaster and the secretary. The bandmaster is Mr. N. McMahon.
