MANUKAU CLUB'S RACES. The opening races of the Manukau teur Cycling Club's rosul season were lie <1 011 Saturday and attracted '2B starters. Both the junior and senior divisions races weie over the same course of 15 liulea, extending from New Lynn to Swanson and hack. Ideal conditions prevailed and by a sterling rido Foubister lowered the course record. The junior event resulted as follows: J K. Hull (2m), 43m 10s. 1; E. R. Hansen (am 30s). 47m ;!s. 2: E. W. Bates (2m , 41111 41s, 3; W. F. J. Elliott (5m 30s). 51m 7s, -1. In addition to winning. Hall secured fastest ti :no honours. The successful seniors were:—ll. i. Baston (sin), 43m 325. 1; L. M. Nicholson (Ciin), 41m 335, 2; JI. W, Bellini (7m), 45m 3ts, 3; if. C. CI appcll (sm), 44m 50s, 4. It. G. Foubister, scr. established fastest and record time in 41m 10s. Inches only separated the three placed men. AUCKLAND CLUB'S KACE. The Auckland Cycle Club continued its weekly road races with a 20! miles handicap at Tainaki 011 Saturday. There wera 21 competitors. The placed riders were:—l>. It. Watson. 4m oils. 1; P. I lick noil. Bm, 2 ; L. Tomkins, 7m, 3. Time, 58m 375. Fastest time was recorded by 13. Hayes, scr, in 58in 18s. AUCKLAND AMATEUR CLUB. The Auckland Amateur Cycle Club's second handicap road race of the season was held 011 Saturday over ill miles. A field of 18 started. Results were as follows: R. Bart rum, 4m l.Os, I j G.
