WHANGAREI FLOWER SHOW.
[from our own correspondent.] WHANGAREI, Saturday. The second annual flower show under the auspices of the Whangarei Horticultural Society was opened yesterday afternoon by the Mayor, Mr. W. Jones, and continued to-day. The array of blooms made an attractive show, which was equal to anything previously seen in the district. The judges were Mr. G. W. Wright, of Epsom, and Mr. William Collins, of Maungaturoto.
