KUMEU RATEPAYERS.
There was a good attendance at a meeting of the Kumcu District Ratepayers' Association held in tho Kumeu Public Ilall. An outline of 1 lie operations of the YVaitcmala Power Board during the past year was given by Mr. J. Mackie, a member of the board, who was asked to bring before tho board the question of a reduction in power charges for farmers' milking motors. Mr. fj. Kerr-Taylor, Kumeu Riding representative on the Wailemata County Council, dealt with unemployment schemes affecting the fanning community.
