SAVOURY FISH.
Any kind of white fish may be cooked in this way. Sprinkle, the fish with salt and pepper and place, in an earthenware dish, Pour over half a pint of milk and a quarter of a pint of water. Cover dish, cook sliwly in the oven until fish is tender, thon lift tho fish out and keep it hot. Add two tablespoon fills of fine breadcrumbs and loz. of bitter to tho liquid and cook until tho crumbs swell and thicken the sauce, 111 or add some chopped parsley and three tea spoonfuls of Worcester sauce and stir well. Return the fish to the sauce and serve at once.
