AN OLD-FASHIONED BELIEF.
n'UTMEG NECKLACES. " Be fit. and fashionable " should be the motto of the wearer of the latest necklace. There is an old-fashioned belief that to wear a nutmeg is to banish all rheumatism! This has inspired tho designer of these new necklaces for sports wear. The nutmegs are used in the place of large brown beads, and have brightlycoloured wooden or glass beads threaded between them. The necklaces can be obtained in all attractive colours, and are made in several lengths. Some have bracelets to match. 'lhev are most, effective worn to tone, with a tweed suit. Whether or not the nutmeg will banish the aches and pains will be a minor consideration.
