CONTROL OF TRANSPORT.

MR. JUSTICE FRAZER'S WORK. APPEAL BOARD CHAIRMAN ONLY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —TOESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Friday. Mr. Justice Frazer, who has been appointed chairman of the Transport Appeal Board, is also chairman of the Central Licensing Authority. He is relinquishing the latter position, however, and steps will be taken to make another appointment to the Authority in the near future. Owing to the pressure of bis other duties in the Arbitration Court, it has been found impossible for Mr. Justice Frazer to give suflicient time to transport licensing work, but as the same calls will not require to be made upon his services in respect of appeals, it has been decided to utilise his services and wide experience in that phase of the work.
