BENNETT SHIELD RACE. ® The draw for positions in the R. F. Bonnell Memorial Shield race to be contested at. the North Shore Rowing Club's At Home tomorrow afternoon took place at the North Shore shed last, evening. ' Only two seniors are allowed in eitch four, while the raco will be rowed over a mile and a-half course, finishing at, the clubhouse. The ci;ews and positions are:—No. 1, Auckland: H. Scott. (\ Chamberlain, 'J. McCornish, R. Porter; No. 2, Wailemata; No. 3, St. (icorge's: C. W. D'Authreau; F. Solomon. J. R. H. Bias. G. Brown; No. 4, North Shore No. I: AY. Detin, S. Gardiner, A. Coles. J. Woodliouse; No. 5. West End: No. 6, North Shore No. 2: McCallum, C. Oliver, W. Sofham. Norrif. Waitemala, and West End have not decided upon their crews.

Gommittoe stating that two lots of prises were 1o bo given in the single sculls race as a result of a proteflt. entered by the Hamilton Rowing Club. In Hie race, which was won bv Beesley, Waitemata, three competitors kept to a course on the wrong sido of a buoy in the river, thus gaining distance over the other competitors.
