A tribute to the late, S;r Horace Plunkett was paid by the GovernorGeneral, Lord Bledisloe, in a message he despatched to the editor of the Times to-day for publication. His Excellency said:—' By the death of my old friend Sir Horace Plunkett the world has lost, its most far-sighted and constructive agriculturalist. New Zealand, among other countries, lias profited greatly by his economic wisdom and will join the Mother Country and his own much loved native land in mourning his loss."
